CXOToday has engaged in an exclusive interview with Megha Pavan, CEO and Founder, Arkaa Cluster Private Limited
1) How is Arkaa Cluster leveraging technology to streamline its operations and enhance the efficiency of cluster-based development?
Arkaa Cluster uses technology to integrate and synergise its operations, resulting in increased efficiency through streamlined and efficient operations. We use digital tools to improve cluster operations to effectively monitor production activities, resource allocation, and communication across several clusters. This minimises inefficiencies and allows for speedier decision-making by utilising real-time information to run operations efficiently, and it includes technology-driven dashboards and reporting systems to give value in terms of workforce productivity and resource optimisation.
2) How does your company utilize data analytics or AI to improve the quality and productivity of goods produced by your cluster?
We use data analytics to understand market demand, and other data, this assists the company in monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs). It allows the organisation to analyse data more effectively and make better decisions that will improve output and product quality. Predictive analytics, which is a component of AI-based solutions, will eventually aid in predicting supply and demand to prevent overproduction of items and improve appropriate inventory management procedures. In order to ensure appropriate quality standards, artificial intelligence (AI) is also being utilised in quality control procedures. Machine learning algorithms are employed to identify product flaws early in the production cycle.
- How is technology helping Arkaa Cluster optimize its supply chain, particularly in connecting rural producers to urban markets?
Arkaa Cluster uses technology to upgrade the company’s supply chain effectiveness by enhancing the coordination of rural producers with the urban markets. This helps trace the origin of products up to the point of delivery. Improved coordination ensures goods are delivered relatively faster and at a lower cost than otherwise. Arkaa also optimizes its transportation routes, which means that delivery takes fewer days and is, therefore, much more reliable. This helps increase market access for the productive rural base.
- Are there any specific digital tools or platforms you have integrated to support local artisans or farmers within your cluster?
Arkaa Cluster incorporates a variety of digital tools and resources for the benefit of the regional farmers and craftspeople in its cluster. Furthermore, financial services and training materials are accessible through digital platforms, enabling farmers and craftspeople to run their business more profitably. Arkaa uses these technologies to give local producers the resources they need to grow sustainably while also assisting in connecting them with larger markets.
- Have you adopted any innovations in logistics or transportation technologies to ensure faster and more efficient delivery of goods?
Arkaa Cluster also serves as a logistic partner that utilizes real-time monitoring technologies to ensure timely, on-time goods transportation. Additionally, algorithms are used for route optimization to minimize the time that goods take to arrive. With technological interfaces we are able to upscale the operations, improve productivity, and enhance the accessibility of markets for the rural producer.
