Genpact (NYSE: G), a global professional services and solutions firm delivering outcomes that shape the future, today announced that it has been recognized as one of the 2024 Avtar and Seramount Best Companies for Women in India (BCWI) – and placed in the prestigious “Hall of Fame.” This marks Genpact’s fifth time being recognized in the study, highlighting its commitment to promoting gender diversity and building an inclusive workplace where women can thrive.
The BCWI study is an industry-leading comprehensive assessment that benchmarks companies based on their policies, practices, and programs for women employees. This year, 361 companies, spanning every major industry, geographical location, and line of business, were evaluated to recognize leaders in fostering a culture of gender inclusion and advancement of women employees.
“At Genpact, we believe that a diverse workforce, where everyone feels valued and empowered, fuels a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement,” said Aparna Pathak, Global Leader, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, Genpact. “This recognition is a testament to our ongoing efforts to create a workplace that empowers women to excel. By prioritizing gender diversity and inclusion, we’re not only creating a more equitable environment but also driving innovation and business growth for ourselves and our clients.”

At Avtar, we are committed to raising the bar on gender diversity, equity and inclusion and this year’s study takes one more step in that direction – of recognising emerging companies on their initiatives towards increasing and enabling women in the workforce. It is remarkable to witness how organizations across geographies are increasingly committed to creating work environments where diversity is empowered to thrive.
