WardenAI is a solution that helps entities guard against threats such as false news and misinformation
Metaphy Labs, a Jetsynthesys company, has announced the public launch of its ground-breaking AI solution, WardenAI, which took place at the Indo-Spanish Dialogue in the presence of Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez. This launch signifies a pivotal advancement in harnessing AI for social good.
Metaphy’s partnerships in Spain have been a key driver for this development. It has secured Letters of Intent (LOIs) and early collaborations with notable organizations such as the PRISA Group, starting with the Huffington Post, CadenaSER, and the Heretics Group, as well as the University of Navarra. These partners recognize the transformative potential of WardenAI to support their missions while fostering AI-driven growth, accountability, and innovation.
Warden: Revolutionizing AI for Impact
WardenAI is designed to address some of the world’s most pressing challenges. The AI safety and trust platform protects individuals, businesses, and governments against emerging AI threats, across all devices and channels in real-time. It is built to promote ‘Right to correct information’ by providing stakeholders with access to a source of truth.
During the launch, Varun Sharma, Co-founder, Metaphy Labs and WardenAI, demonstrated WardenAI’s real-world use case in Burkina Faso. News emerged of misinformation circulating out of Burkina Faso, with stories of ‘guerrilla donations’ — foreign funds allegedly fuelling groups promoting propaganda and instability. Local communities, already vulnerable, were caught in a whirlwind of doubt, mistrust, and fear. WardenAI teams sprang into action, and its AI tools went to work. Using the model’s ability to process and analyse data from over 200,000 sources in near-real time, it uncovered key patterns in just 72 hours, tracing the origins of the misinformation and exposing a coordinated disinformation network. The AI flagged over 5,000 suspicious narratives, identifying core messages that were fuelling division and unrest.
“Metaphy has been doing pioneering work in AI. With the launch of WardenAI, we have once again broken new ground in the way AI can be harnessed and applied to solve societal problems. Fake news and misinformation is a global issue and WardenAI demonstrates how it can be tackled and its adverse impact mitigated with technology,” said Rajan Navani, Founder and CEO, Jetsynthesys.
“Recent studies estimate that false news spreads 70% faster than the truth online. The financial and social costs of fake news are staggering – it is estimated to cost the global economy $78 billion every year, while its impacts undermine social cohesion and trust in public institutions.
We believe that WardenAI is poised to redefine the way AI supports and empowers societies and we are thrilled to see this vision align with the broader Spain-India collaboration and the shared support from Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez,” said Rakesh Sreedhar and Varun Sharma, Co-founders, Metaphy Labs and WardenAI.
Spanish Government Endorsement
Spanish Prime Minister Sánchez’s endorsement of Metaphy’s mission exemplifies Spain’s commitment to fostering responsible AI. This support, combined with the Spanish government’s alignment on policies and resources, solidifies Metaphy’s joint efforts to create an AI ecosystem that upholds transparency, trust, and ethical standards.
The launch aligns seamlessly with the broader Spain-India collaboration and the 2026 vision for a resilient and forward-looking AI ecosystem that benefits society.
