With 27 years of experience in retail, rural, and agri-banking, ICICI Bank veteran Pramod Dubey has joined Utkarsh Small Finance Bank.
Search firm Venator Search Partners,focused onthe Banking sector, has assisted Utkarsh Small Finance Bank in its search for an Executive Director. Aligned with businesses at the core of Small Finance Banks, Venator Search Partners conducted a thorough search to help the bank appoint Pramod Dubey as ED. At Utkarsh Small Finance Bank, he will be responsible for all business verticals, including assets, collections, credit, and branch banking.
Pramod Dubey is a veteran of ICICI Bank and was recognized as a ‘Key Management Person’ in 2023. In his last assignment with ICICI Bank, Dubey managed operations of Rs. 13 lakh crore deposits and Rs. 12 lakh crore of assets with a team of 7000 people.
His recent exposure has been in rural and agribusiness at ICICI Bank. He managed the loan book of Rs 91,000 crore across over 6,000 branches in 23 states and worked on expanding the market share and profitability of ICICI Bank’s Rural and agribusiness vertical.
With a strong focus on growth, Dubey has grown the branch banking business and has worked extensively across the northern and western regions. He worked in branches and grew to regional roles before moving into the corporate office in Mumbai. Dubey started his career in a large branch in New Delhi and subsequently moved to Pune. As he grew into the regional role, he was responsible for the Madhya Pradesh regionof Bihar and Jharkhand. This helped him take on larger geographies and more significant responsibilities in retail banking.
