Q.1 India is experiencing buoyancy in electronics manufacturing. With your new proposed facility what is your vision for the electronics manufacturing sector in India?

Ans: India is indeed experiencing a surge in electronics manufacturing, and I’m thrilled to be a part of this exciting growth. With our new proposed facility, we envision India becoming a global hub for electronics manufacturing, not just for domestic consumption but also for exports to the world.

Our vision is to create a world-class manufacturing ecosystem that is not only efficient and cost-effective but also sustainable and environmentally responsible. We believe that India has the potential to become a leader in this field, and we are committed to playing our part in making that happen.

We are confident that our new facility will be a catalyst for innovation and growth in the Indian electronics sector. We are committed to working with our partners to develop cutting-edge technologies and products that will meet the needs of the global market.

Specifically, our new facility will focus on the following:

  • Increasing production capacity: We will be able to produce significantly more LED TVs at our new facility, which will help us meet the growing demand for our products.
  • Improving quality control: We will be investing in state-of-the-art quality control equipment and procedures to ensure that our LED TVs are of the highest quality.
  • Reducing costs: We will be able to reduce our manufacturing costs by taking advantage of economies of scale and by using more efficient manufacturing processes.

Q.2 What are the products you are currently manufacturing and where is your current plant located?

Ans: Currently, Ekka Electronics is solely focused on manufacturing LED TVs. We are committed to providing our customers with high-quality, innovative, and affordable LED TVs that meet their diverse needs. Our current plant is located in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India. This strategic location provides us with access to a skilled workforce, a robust transportation network, and a supportive business environment.

At our Noida facility, we employ state-of-the-art manufacturing processes and rigorous quality control measures to ensure that our LED TVs consistently deliver exceptional performance and durability. We are constantly innovating and expanding our product line to cater to the evolving preferences of our customers.

Q.3 Why have you chosen Noida, Uttar Pradesh for your new manufacturing facility? How do you find the environment there for electronics manufacturing?

Ans: Noida, Uttar Pradesh is emerging as the new hub for electronics manufacturing.The impetus given by the government, the pool of skilled labour available, robust transportation network and proximity to innovation hubs. aligns with our vision for Ekka Electronics’ future growth and will contribute to India’s ambition to become a global leader in electronics manufacturing.

This augurs well with India aiming to reach USD 300 billion worth of electronics manufacturing and USD 120 billion in exports by FY ’26, supported by the vision of a USD 1 trillion digital economy by 2025.

Q.4 In your new manufacturing facility do you plan to expand your product lines? If yes, what all products do you plan to manufacture?

Ans: Yes, we are excited to announce that our new manufacturing facility will enable us to expand our product lines beyond LED TVs. We plan to venture into the production of a wider range of consumer electronics, including washing machines, smart watches, hearables, Bluetooth speakers and TWS. This expansion aligns with our commitment to diversifying our product portfolio and catering to the evolving needs of our customers. We are confident that our expertise in manufacturing high-quality electronics will translate seamlessly to these new product categories.

Q.5 What are your plans for exports? And to which countries?

Ans- Currently, we are supplying our products to several brands in Bangladesh and Nepal, with a presence in five to six Nepalese brands. We are also engaged with some brands in Dubai and Bahrain. However, our current production capacity is primarily focused on the Indian market.

We intend to expand our reach to more regions with the new factory. This expansion will allow us to offer more competitively priced products compared to China and leverage favorable import duty structures in India. Additionally, our geographical proximity to these markets offers a significant advantage. While shipping from China can take up to 45 days, shipping from Indiacan be done in about ten days. . This logistical advantage positions us favourably compared to China regarding serving the Gulfand African nations.
