  1. Optoma is known for its home entertainment projectors. Why has Optoma forayed into the pro av segment?

Ans: Optoma observed a significant rise in the global Audio-Visual market. The same trend is reflected in Indian market where we see lot of new projects and large installation involving high lumens projectors and display panels. Traditionally Optoma is strong in ProAV range of products and among the top players in European market. Our focus is on providing reliable, flexible, and innovative solutions for various needs in this segment.

As we look ahead to 2024, their main goal is to fulfil the demand for professional audio-visual projectors and bridge the gap between people’s expectations and the current offerings in the commercial segment. Optoma entered the professional audio-visual (Pro AV) segment with wide of products in both projection and display panels in Indian market.

 

  1. In the pro av segment, many players are offering innovative projectors. How Optoma is planning to cut the clutter and create a strong foothold in this segment?

Ans: In the Pro AV segment, Optoma is offering a wide range of innovative projectors that cater to the needs of various industries. Optoma’s projectors are known for their high-quality display, long-lasting performance, and energy efficiency.

Optoma has been recognized for its innovative products in the Pro AV segment. For instance, the Optoma ProScene ZU2200 and ZU1300 are flagship 4K UHD MultiColor Laser (MCL) projectors featuring 22,000 and 14,400 lumens of brightness, respectively, and an impressive 2,000,000:1 contrast ratio with Extreme Black enabled for powerful colour performance and rich blacks.

Optoma’s OMA-S (ML1080 and ML1080ST) ultra-portable RGB triple laser projectors feature automatic geometric, focus, and four-corner correction for instant place-and-play.

Optoma’s 4K UHD & WUXGA professional projectors blend superior image processing technologies with exceptional engineering, delivering bright, crystal-clear images for a wide range of applications including museums, entertainment venues, and corporate spaces.

Ans: The pro AV (Audio-Visual) market in India appears promising due to various factors. Factors contributing to this positive outlook include increasing consumer demand, technological advancements, current business trends, workforce improvements, and innovations. People also prefer clear visuals in larger auditoriums, further boosting the market. Notably, the introduction of AI and other technologies is bringing significant changes to the Indian pro AV market.

One key driver of growth is the rising demand for audio-visual solutions in the corporate sector, particularly for conference rooms, boardrooms, and presentation spaces. This encompasses products such as projectors, interactive displays, and video conferencing systems. The Projectors have telecentric optical structure that provides strong performance uniformity compatible with multiple interchangeable optical lens options to accommodate any installation need. Additionally they have HDR10 compatibility, integrated HDBaseT, built-in image blending and warping and 360-degree operation.
