Take us through the Journey so far.

I qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2014. I worked with a Big4 firm for 3 years and then started with my own CA firm. The firm is running successfully so far. While in practice, I noticed that issues which arise whether with client or with the tax department are largely resulting from common points e.g. human error while accounting, wastage of time waiting for hard copies, one months deferred accounting for MSME clients, subdued skill sets of human resources, real-time availability of financial reports/information to clients for informed decision making and so on. To overcome such common shortcomings and to enhance quality of service in a CA or Accountant’s office, I along with my Team conceptualised a software. Manage-mate as a product is the outcome of this concept, that supports CA/Accountant in (a) Client Management; and (b) Office Management.

How Signatize Uses Accounting and Financial Reporting through innovation and technology?

Signatize has developed cutting-edge software which uses technology platform to:

(a) Digital collection of transactional documents from SME clients; (b) financial reporting on dashboards and deliverables sharing on application; (c) automate GSTR 2B reconciliation; (d) presents real-time filing status of GST returns; (e) prepares financial statements as required by Regulatory bodies; (f) aids MSME compliance for clients of CA / Accountant; (g) provides ML based ledger scrutiny and audit queries; (h) shares knowledge of key updates in form of articles and video.

How to formulate Strategy Formulation and Growth planning?

With ManageMate, we aim to onboard CA and Tax professionals with our basic subscription model through which they can manage their office and clients. At ManageMate, we are team of qualified Chartered Accountants and being of same industry, we have direct access to our target audience in form of Institute directory and other channels. Onboarded CA and Tax professionals will get access to our other software solutions that carters to different need of SME clients, that CA or Tax professionals can directly sell and earn additional revenue. We as a team, will keep on streamlining existing developed modules and add new modules on regular intervals to our offerings.

How do you use technology for clients?

Our direct clients are CA and Tax professionals who subscribe to our software and our software not only digitally connects them with their SME clients but also supports them in office function and save staff hours. (a) For Subscribers, our technology aided solutions supports them to track financial health of all clients at single screen, perform manual calculation digitally, perform reconciliation activities across different reports on real time, and much more. (b) For subscriber’s clients, we have developed a dashboard where key financial metrics updates on real time basis for informed decision making. Even, data sharing can be done by clicking photos via mobile camera.

Discuss about data customisation.

The raw data for our application comes from Tally accounting software. Accountants majorly use Tally for book-kepping of their SME Clients. Our software is integrated with Tally and post accounting, we collect raw accounted data, and customise our reports. On raw data, our technically developed queries are applied to develop sound MIS reports that assist (a) CA/Tax professionals to keep track of their SME client’s financial health and timely compliance with regulatory requirements; and (b) SME clients to get real time assess to accounted data, financial reports and MIS for informed decision making.
