This January marks a thoughtful step forward in India’s renewable energy sector. Advait Infratech Limited, with a focus on sustainable energy solutions, has inaugurated India’s first Green Hydrogen microgrid system at the THDC India Limited (THDCIL) office complex in Rishikesh.

The event, attended by Shalin Sheth (Director, Advait Infratech) and Mallikarjuna.B (CEO, Advait Greenergy Pvt Ltd), along with other dignitaries, represents a significant stride towards a greener future.

The project includes a 300 kW Green Hydrogen production plant and a 70 kWh PEM Fuel Cell. Its features are carefully designed, with a focus on functionality and environmental responsibility:

  • A 300 kW Alkaline Electrolyser, aiming to produce 50 kg of high-purity hydrogen per day.
  • A 24m3 storage tank at 30 bar pressure, ensuring a steady supply of hydrogen to power the fuel cell during the night.

Adding to this stride in renewable energy, Advait Infratech, has been declared a successful bidder in the Solar Energy Corporation of India’s (SECI) 1.5 GW manufacturing auction. This tender, fostering green hydrogen production with an annual capacity of 450,000 metric tons, marks a significant development in India’s renewable energy landscape.

This initiative by Advait Infratech Limited is a step towards contributing to a more sustainable environment, emphasizing the importance of innovation in energy generation with a mindful approach.

In a related development, Advait Infratech Limited is setting up an electrolyser & fuel cell manufacturing facility in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. This facility, part of the government’s PLI scheme, is a testament to Advait’s ongoing efforts in supporting green technology.
