60+ battery, recycling, and EV infra companies set to showcase their innovations at Bharat Mobility Global Expo

Industry Body IESA to host three dedicated pavilions on battery technologies, recycling, and EV infra

 

  • The Bharat Mobility Global Expo will bring together the entire mobility value chain under one roof.
  • EV battery manufacturing, battery safety, and recycling along with EV charging and battery swapping are the key areas of discussion at the Bharat Mobility Global expo, scheduled from Feb. 1st – 3rd, 2024.
  • IESA Academy will organize the Future Mobility Learning Centre supported by the International Solar Alliance as part of the expo.

 

Hosted by leading industry associations and supported by the Government of India, Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2024 – a three-day global expo has been organized in New Delhi from Feb.1 – Feb. 3, 2024, covering the entire mobility ecosystem and showcasing sustainable transportation underway in India. Hon’ble PM Modi will grace the inauguration of the Bharat Mobility Global Expo on Feb. 1, 2024. The inauguration session will be attended by the veterans in the mobility industry from India and 50+ countries worldwide. In addition to PM Modi, Hon’ble Minister of Commerce and Industry, Piyush Goyal is also expected to launch new products at the Expo by Amara Raja, Battrix, Ogo Energy Power EV on Feb. 3, 2024.

Leading industry body, India Energy Storage Alliance (IESA) is organizing a dedicated pavilion on battery technologies, recycling, and EV infrastructure as part of this global expo. 60+ leading companies are exhibiting as part of this pavilion including Amara Raja, LivGuard, GODI Energy, Epsilon Advanced Materials, Bhilwara Group, Replus, Himadri Speciality Chemical, Trontek Group, Battrix, GFCL EV, SEMCO, Exigo Recycling, Sungell India, LICO Materials, BatX Energies, Attero Recycling, Hioki, Fortum, Statiq, SCharge, Neuron Energy among others.

The future mobility industry requires one million new skilled professionals in the next three years. It is imperative to reskill the workforce to make sure they are future-ready. To address this gap and help achieve the government objective, IESA Academy, with support from the International Solar Alliance (ISA) will be launching “Future Mobility Learning Centre” (FMLC), 3FF, Pragati Maidan during the Bharat Mobility Show from February 1-3, 2024. FMLC will be holding multiple training sessions which will be free to attend. These path-breaking sessions are supported by the Automotive Skills Development Council, Electronics Sector Skills Council of India, IEEE-Power, and Energy Society among others.

IESA is also organizing three dedicated conferences:

  • An International Battery Manufacturing, Recycling & Circular Economy Conference which will be held on Feb.1 at Bharat Mandapam. The dialogue will host government officials and industry leaders and cover the additional 10 GWh ACC-PLI announcement, progress on the giga factories, raw materials processing, and key challenges in the recycling industry.
  • The Global EV Battery Safety Forum, a first-of-its-kind event that will host battery manufacturers and EV OEMs alike. Other participants at the forum include leading organizations like the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), Underwriters Laboratories, Automotive Research Association of India, International Centre for Automotive Technology, Honeywell, Fitretech Department of Science & Technologies (DST), Govt. of India will share their knowledge with the audience to make the EV world safer.
  • Bharat EV Charging & Battery Swapping Leadership Summit on Feb. 2. The summit will host key industry CXOs to strategize the growth plan of the industry. The session will see both central and state government officials participate in boosting the EV infrastructure in India.

The Bharat Mobility Global Expo is managed by 11 leading industry associations and supported by nine ministries under the guidance of the Ministry of Commerce & Industry.
