Blockchained India, a global community of web3 enthusiasts, has announced the launch of the second edition of their flagship event – Back the Buidlers 2.0. This initiative is designed to empower and provide support to builders in advancing their ventures and in line with their aim to add $1 trillion in value to the Web3 ecosystem by supporting over 2000 startups with vital support, mentorship, and connections with grant managers, investors, and key stakeholders from prominent exchanges and widely adopted protocol ecosystems.
The event will commence on December 9, 2023, starting from 6:00 pm at The Zuri in Whitefield, Bangalore.
Commenting on the announcement, Akshay Aggarwal, Founder Blockchained India said – “In the last year, the Web3 industry experienced significant milestones, such as the launch of Bitcoin ordinals and the Arbitrum airdrop, which drove unprecedented growth. Also, the recent surge in the industry, accompanied by a notable bull run, attracted mainstream financial institutions and spurred regulatory actions aimed at securing retail interest. Another watershed moment in achieving mass adoption emerged through decentralized social media protocols that disrupted the dominance of mainstream social media by empowering users with content and network ownership. However, amidst these groundbreaking developments that further decentralization to a significant degree, a need arises to bridge the gap between innovation and user adoption. We aim to bright this necessity by empowering builders, providing attention to burgeoning products, and establishing a robust support network.”
Few of the notable speakers that would be participating at the event are Pranav Sharma, Managing Partner, WoodStock Fund; Amogh Gupta Developer Advocate & India Lead, Sui Foundation; Radhakrishna Dasari, Technical Education Lead, Web3 Foundation; Sanat Kapur. Partner, Dragonfly Capital; Sameep Singhania Founding Member, QuickSwap amongst others. The discussions at the event will also extend beyond user-centric initiatives, and delve into infrastructure innovations such as account abstraction, concentrated liquidity pools, player-owned DAOs, liquid democracy, and more, signifying the industry’s comprehensive incubation ecosystem for builders.
