Gus is widely known for his expertise in finance and business management and his distinguished reputation in the industry is reinforced by his educational credentials, which include a bachelor’s degree in finance from California State University, Long Beach, and an MBA from the prestigious USC Marshall School of Business.  At Inspira, Gus will advise the executive team in strategic decision-making, providing valuable business insights in the cybersecurity services space, new business ideas, and supporting brand positioning and reputation.  The organization will significantly benefit from Gus’ wealth of experience as it works towards revolutionizing cybersecurity to enhance safety and security on a global scale.

Gus recently held the position of Chief Information Security (CISO) at USC, where he played a pivotal role responsible for providing leadership and strategic direction on cybersecurity.  He spearheaded significant security initiatives, leading a comprehensive six-year transformation of USC’s cybersecurity landscape.

Gus is an accomplished trailblazer in the space with two and a half decades of transformative leadership experience and the ability to convert technological progress into great business value.  Having held key leadership positions such as CISO and CIO, Gus has made evident his expertise across various industry verticals including, Financial Services, FinTech, Education, Automotive, Oil & Gas, and Defense.

In his current role at CDG, he is responsible for corporate strategy, delivery operations, account management, and customer success.
