Veeam Promotes New Vice President of Channel Strategy for Asia Pacific and Japan

Macro Zhang promoted as Belinda Jurisic takes on new global sales role at Veeam

Veeam^® Software, the #1 leader by market share in Data Protection and Ransomware Recovery, has appointed Macro Zhang as Vice President of Channel Strategy for the Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ) region. Zhang who was previously Vice President of Sales, China has been promoted to the role as his predecessor Belinda Jurisic takes up an exciting new role as the worldwide Vice President of Veeam’s Sales Development Representative (SDR) organization. Belinda’s experience makes her well-suited to leading this new team, aimed at continuing to modernize Veeam’s sales and marketing strategy. Her guidance will be instrumental in leading Veeam’s approach worldwide and fostering the development of world-class teams.

Zhang has spent over six and a half years at Veeam China, where he built the business from scratch, tapping into his own prior experience in founding a cloud-based desktop service company. He has also held several leadership positions at Citrix, Intel, Juniper Networks, and several other large global technology companies, bringing close to three decades of experience to Veeam. Zhang will assume responsibilities as the Vice President of Channel Strategy, APJ at Veeam immediately, leveraging his extensive experience and knowledge to support Veeam’s channel partners in the Asia-Pacific and Japan region.
