CXOToday has engaged in an exclusive interview with Mr Sanjay Kalirona, CEO and Co-founder, Gizmore

  1. What are the latest technological advancements in the smartwear industry, and how are they shaping the future of wearable devices?

The smartwear industry has witnessed significant advancements in recent years, with new technological innovations shaping the future of wearable devices. One of the important technological advancements in smartwatches is using AMOLED screens. With GPS and a dedicated 4G SIM slot in entry-level watches, the overall user experience has become much better.

Some of the latest smartwatches come equipped with in-built cameras, enabling users to take photos and videos directly from their wrist. This technology helps capture images and videos during workouts, hikes, and other outdoor activities. These features make smartwatches more useful, versatile, and accessible to a broader range of people.

  1. What are the key considerations or challenges in battery life, charging, or power management for smartwear products?

Smartwear products are a crucial aspect of an individual’s personality. However, there are vital considerations that are to be kept in mind for efficient power management. The more features and functions a smartwatch has, the more power it requires, which can drain the battery quickly.

As the consumer has a wide choice of options and each watch has a different charger, keeping the device at peak performance can be difficult. Ideally, smartwatches should have a universal charging standard to make it easier for customers to charge their devices.

  1. What are the latest advancements in wearable technologies, such as sensors, processors, or connectivity?

With many exciting advancements, wearable technologies have come a long way in recent years. One of the latest and most significant advancements has been the development of faster and more accurate processors that can support more sophisticated applications and enable real-time health monitoring. Wearable devices now incorporate more advanced sensors to track a broader range of health metrics. These sensors allow wearables to monitor a person’s health more accurately and provide more detailed insights into their overall well-being.

Wearable devices are becoming increasingly connected, allowing them to communicate with other devices and share data in real time. This connectivity has led to development of new applications and use cases, such as remote health monitoring, real-time coaching, and emergency response. These advancements drive significant growth in the wearable technology market and enable new applications and use cases.

  1. How important is security and privacy of user data in its smartwear products, considering the growing concerns around data and privacy breaches?

Security and privacy of user data in smartwear products have become increasingly important, especially with the growing concerns around data and privacy breaches. It is critical that customer trust is maintained and the user’s sensitive information is protected.

Most companies are expected to store user data within India to comply with local data privacy laws. It will help build trust among stakeholders and maintain a strong brand reputation.
