WSI’s acquisition of Woodfield Systems Ltd. UK marks a historic moment, bringing together over a century of British engineering expertise with WSI’s global leadership in fluid management solutions. This acquisition signifies the alignment of technical mastery from Woodfield Systems UK with WSI’s extensive industry experience and manufacturing capabilities. WSI will become the only company that fully manufactures Marine Loading Arms in India. This will elevate the company’s offerings and solidify its position as a leader in the global market. With a complete basket of truck loading arms, Metering Skids, Safe access solutions and now Marine loading arms for various products including cryogenic services like LNG and Liquid Hydrogen WSI will be the only company to offer all these products manufactured by one company globally. In this way, the customer will be at ease to have a complete solution at one place. The company not only will make for India but Make in India for the world.

 

  1. With a $100 million investment in India, what specific advancements does Woodfield Systems International aim to achieve in fluid and gas management capabilities over the next decade?

WSI plans to invest $100 million over the next decade, driving advancements in technology, infrastructure, and manufacturing capabilities. The investment will be towards new hiring, new manufacturing plants and acquisitions of companies in North America and Europe in similar sand box of products.

 

  1. Can you elaborate on the collaborative innovations expected from the union of WSI’s industry experience and Woodfield Systems UK’s technical mastery in the energy sector?

This collaboration is all about experience meeting modern cutting-edge technology. Collaborative process innovation will elevate our product experience to a new height.

 

  1. In alignment with ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat,’ how does Woodfield Systems International envision contributing to India’s infrastructure growth and global manufacturing prowess?

Aligning with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision for increased energy demand, WSI plans to contribute significantly to India’s infrastructure growth, utilizing the synergies from the acquisition to expand its footprint, WSI will become the only company that fully manufactures Marine Loading Arms in India, which is currently imported or brought in from overseas and assembled in India. The company will not only make for India but Make in India for the world.

 

  1. Could you highlight key areas where the collaboration between WSI and Woodfield Systems UK will bring significant advancements in critical equipment engineering for the energy sector?

There are three significant advancements that this collaboration will bring light too, namely:

  • Experience – It will bring more than 100 years of experience to the table.
  • Specialised Expertise – The collaborative engineering expertise now will be of a very high standard
  • Innovation – We are ready to take any kind of critical and challenging project with British Engineering expertise and manufacture in India.

 

  1. Regarding future acquisitions in North America and Europe, what strategic benefits does Woodfield Systems International anticipate, and how do these fit into the company’s broader growth strategy?

The company’s future growth strategy involves strategic acquisitions in North America and Europe, capitalizing on its enhanced capabilities to cater to the customer with more products in the similar sandbox.

WSI will be looking at companies manufacturing products in similar sand box having long experience and critical engineering know how, with the vision to bring the products to India. Company will also be looking at smaller companies who wish to scale up to the next level or newer companies who wish to grow together with us.
