AVPL Drones signed an MoU with University of Technology, Jaipur to Open Drones Centre of Excellence

Over the course of the next three years the AVPL drones aims to train 1 lac Candidates in drone technology.

AVPL Drones, a leading industry partner of AITMC Trust and an emerging drone manufacturing and agri-training company, is pleased to announce its partnership with the University of Technology, Jaipur for the establishment of the Drones Centre of Excellence (COE). This collaboration aims to empower students with the necessary skills and knowledge in the field of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), particularly focusing on drone technicians and kisan drone operators.

Out of a huge pool of Industry partners, AITMC Trust has given this particular opportunity to AVPL Drones as AVPL Drones has the best expertise and knowledge in the field of drones. For this collaboration, AVPL has boarded its DGCA compliance RPTO, SPH Aviation (now a subsidiary of AVPL Drones).

This collaboration aims to empower individuals with the necessary skills and knowledge in unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), focusing on drone technicians and farmer (kisaan) drone operators. The COE is scheduled to commence its courses in July 2023 and aims to train 1800 students in the next one year at UOT, out of which 720 will be trained as Drone technicians and 1080 as Kisan Drone Operators.

The primary two courses that will be offered at the Centre of Excellence are:

Drone Pilot Training: This program will train individuals in the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of drones. Students will learn about the various components of drones, software systems, and advanced diagnostics techniques. The course will prepare them to handle a wide range of technical challenges and ensure the efficient operation of drones.

Kisaan Drone Operator: With a specific focus on agricultural applications, this program will equip participants with the necessary skills to operate drones for precision agriculture. Students will learn about remote sensing, data collection, crop monitoring, and other essential aspects of using drones in farming practices. This course aims to support farmers by enhancing their agricultural productivity through the effective use of drone technology. For this particular course, AVPL Drones is also offering students their own manufactured drone at subsidised rate.

The Centre of Excellence will be equipped with cutting-edge facilities, including specialised training labs, advanced simulation software, and a dedicated fleet of drones for practical training. The curriculum has been meticulously designed by industry experts to ensure a comprehensive learning experience for students. The courses offered at the Centre of Excellence will provide aspiring professionals with the theoretical foundation and practical expertise required to excel in the rapidly expanding field of drone technology

AVPL Drone with an valuation of 1000 cr +, now targeting to establish such 100 COE’s for Agriculture and Drone training across India in next 2 years to train and certify 1 lacs candidates and make 65000 Agri Drone entrepreneurs and 1 lacs community service providers to open 80,000 Farners city marts.
