CoinDCX, India’s first Unicorn crypto exchange, hosted Namaste Web3 in Indore, a flagship Web3 education initiative that helps spread awareness and education about Web3- the future of Internet. Indore native Sumit Gupta, Co-founder of CoinDCX has been one of the driving forces to support the Web3 ecosystem in India.
The Indore chapter of Namaste Web3 was on the theme “Are you prepared to ride the Web3 wave?”. The event was graced by the presence of Shri P Narahari, Secretary and Commissioner, Department of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSME) Industries, Government of Madhya Pradesh, Shri Pushyamitra Bhargav, Mayor, Nagar Nigam Indore, and Sumit Gupta, Cofounder, CoinDCX. More than 250 people attended, including notable persons from Indore, Web3 and emerging tech entrepreneurs, developers, and enthusiasts.
India, a nation teeming with innovation and vibrant entrepreneurial spirit, is making waves in the Web3 space. With more than 450 active startups, a formidable talent pool of 75,000 developers, and a growing list of unicorns, India is poised for a remarkable transformation. The country boasts a whopping 11% of the global Web3 talent and the industry has the potential to infuse an additional $1.1 trillion into India’s GDP. In this context, hosting Namaste Web3 in Indore takes on special significance, given the city’s impressive roster of Web3 entrepreneurs, developers, and professionals.

The Government of Madhya Pradesh is committed to nurture the talent and empower our youth with the necessary supportive ecosystem. Towards this, we have initiated a series of initiatives, offer access to resources and support in terms of infrastructure and incentives”.

The fireside chat on ‘Entrepreneurship in the Web3 Era’ by Mr. Sumit Gupta, Co-founder & CEO of CoinDCX, explored key aspects of entrepreneurship in the evolving digital landscape. There was a panel discussion on ‘Web3 and Entrepreneurship,’ featuring distinguished speakers such as Mr. Dilip Chenoy, Chairman, Bharat Web3 Association; Koushik Bhargav Muthe, Co-founder & CTO, Zoth; Dr. Ravi Chamria, Co-founder CEO, Zeeve Inc.
The event ended with a panel discussion on ‘The Tokenization of Real World Assets(RWA)’.
