CTE organised an International Workshop on HyperConverged Infrastructure Solutions at Annamalai University, Tamil Nadu

The Consortium for Technical Education (CTE) successfully organised a groundbreaking two-day workshop on HyperConverged Infrastructure Solutions at the CTE Learning Centre, Annamalai University, Tamil Nadu. The event took place on 19th and 20th July 2023 and witnessed a gathering of students and faculties from the Information Technology Engineering department, to harness the power of HyperConverged Infrastructure (HCI) Solutions.

The live online workshop, meticulously crafted and delivered by industry experts from USA, offered an intensive training program spread over two consecutive days. The comprehensive agenda encompassed vital aspects of HyperConverged Infrastructure (HCI), including General Implementation & Troubleshooting, In-Depth User Interface Walkthrough, API Integration, and VM Creation, among other essential topics.

Mr. K. A. Alagarsamy, Director, Consortium for Technical Education, expressed his satisfaction with the workshop, stating, “Hosting this international workshop on HyperConverged Infrastructure Solutions with Global Technology Experts was a great privilege. The workshop aimed to equip participants with insights and skills on how to leverage this cutting-edge technology for their academic and professional endeavors.”

Through their wealth of experience and expertise, the trainers guided the participants through an UI introduction and cluster initialization journey, culminating in an Advanced Training segment that delved deeper into the intricacies of HCI implementation. The workshop not only provided a theoretical foundation but also offered practical hands-on exercises that enabled attendees to gain real-world experience and confidence in handling HyperConverged Infrastructure Solutions.

Dr. D. Venkatasekhar (Professor and Head, IT), was present at the training program along with coordinators, Dr. R. Suban (Associate Professor, IT) and Dr. D. Suresh (Assistant Professor, IT). “The HyperConverged Infrastructure workshop organised by CTE was an outstanding initiative, bringing together industry experts and participants from diverse technical backgrounds. The hands-on training and in-depth discussions on HCI implementation and troubleshooting were particularly enlightening.
