CyberPeace and BSI Learning Institute Australia Collaborate to Launch Cybersecurity Qualifications
CyberPeace, in association with BSI Learning Institute Australia, announced the launch of the first-ever Indian-Australian Qualifications Cybersecurity program on International Day of Peace. This landmark event took place at the prestigious Hotel Taj Mahal, One Mansingh Road, New Delhi on September 21, 2023.
Ms. Kala Philip, CEO of BSI Learning Australia; Ms. Catherine Gallagher, Minister Commercial and Head of Austrade-South Asia and Major Vineet Kumar, Founder and Global President of CyberPeace addressed the inauguration ceremony. The panelists included Mr. Mathew Johnston, Minister-Counsellor (Education and Research) for South Asia, Dr. Tripta Thakur, Director General, NPTI, India, Mr. John Foley, Programme Lead for the UK-India cyber programme, EY and Mr. Shrikant Sinha, CEO, TASK, Telangana, India.
Major Vineet Kumar, Founder and Global President of CyberPeace, expressed his enthusiasm for this collaboration on the International Day of Peace, saying, “Thrilled to reveal our collaboration with BSI Learning on this International Day of Peace. The CyberPeace – BSI Learning Indian-Australian Cybersecurity Qualifications programme panel on “Harnessing, Inculcating, and Fostering Global Cybersecurity Skilling Pathways,” addressed strategies and initiatives to solve the digital age’s most serious concerns integrating the fast expansion of technology and our world’s ever-increasing connection leading cybersecurity to emerge as a crucial concern for governments, organizations, and individuals alike.

The panel discussion also addressed the required steps to develop a trained and adaptive cybersecurity workforce capable of effectively defending against growing cyber threats. The conversation delved into the significance of education and training in developing the next generation of cybersecurity experts, as well as the necessity for constant learning and upskilling in this ever-changing area.
