The 9 day drive was flagged off in the presence of CyberPeace Foundation at Indian School of Business Hyderabad. #Drive4CyberPeace will cover a distance of over 580 kms across 3 states.
CyberPeace Foundation flagged off its Drive4CyberPeace on Sep 13 from the Indian School of Business Hyderabad. The drive aims at gaining the grass root level understanding of what data privacy & protection mean to people and how they unknowingly breach their own data. The first of the sessions of the drive was conducted at the Vardhaman Engineering College, Hyderabad and in the days to come the drive will be gaining critical input and opinion from the students and netizens at Kurnool, followed by Ananthapur, Chikkaballapur and the checkered flag will be at Bangalore on Sept 19th.
#Drive4CyberPeace will cover a distance of over 580 kms across three states – Telangana, Andhra pradesh and Karnataka. The drive will provide a basic outlook of privacy to those who don’t understand it and simultaneously understand what shortcomings do people see in digital privacy and Protection.

The project will follow a hybrid mode for reaching out to the public including industry representatives and academia across disciplines. Plan-1: Drive-thru: Covering an approximate distance of 580 Kms, the CyberPeace team will drive from Hyderabad to Bengaluru, with the flag off at ISB, Hyderabad and touch down at Bengaluru. Enroute the team will make stops at various planned destinations and educational institutions at different the cities, where they will drive discussions on Data Protection and Privacy with the public including young students, professionals, local population across age groups.
Plan-2: Stationary Sessions: The resident sessions will be organized at eminent institutions and universities across the country, taking insights from students and faculty across various disciplines of study like Law, Engineering, Science & Technology, and Management on their perceptions and understanding about Data Privacy and suggestions for the Data Privacy Bill.
