Indian daily lifestyle retail brand Tynimo opens new stores in Bhopal and Varanasi airport, expands retail footprint

Indian daily lifestyle retailer Tynimo which sells lifestyle products that span over 15 categories, including toys, bags and wallets, home decor, and Indian handicrafts, to name just a few, has expanded its retail footprint with its new stores in Bhopal and Varanasi Airports as a part of its expansion plan. The brand intends to open 50 to 80 outlets over the next three years with the goal of growing its e-commerce business to 30% of total sales by 2024.

Tynimo launched its first store in Bangalore’s most popular Mantri Square Mall in Feb 2019, followed by the next one in the first high street store at one of Bangalore’s popular streets, Jayanagar 4th Block, in the same year. Another store in the Kempegowda International Airport was followed by a store in Bhartiya Mall of Bengaluru. The subsequent round of launches took place in Mumbai, Lucknow and Bhopal airports.

Tynimo is in competition with value retailers like Miniso, Mumuso, and Ilahui, which are also present in India. The brand has the edge over others with a wide range of Indian and international products with superior quality and appealing pricing, therefore promising MakeInIndia initiative. Through this, Tynimo aims to provide a platform for Indian artisans and craftsmen to exhibit indigenous crafts from around the nation.

Commenting on the brand’s growth strategies, Vaibhav Jain, Founder, Tynimo, stated, “Tynimo has been concentrating on developing a formidable assortment of sustainable products for customers over the past few years, introducing Southeast Asian trends and experiences to India. We are convinced that we can introduce the best items to a new market of consumers by opening 50 to 80 outlets in the next three years. By the middle of December, we will be ready to open our new store at Varanasi’s Lal Bahadur Shastri International airport.”

“Next, we’ll be arriving at Vijayawada International Airport, by January 2023. One store in the Bir Tikendrajit International Airport in Imphal, is scheduled to open in early February 2023. Following this, in mid-March 2023, the brand will launch one store in Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, Hyderabad. Tynimo plans to launch its outlets at the country’s major airports in the upcoming quarter, including those in tier 1 and tier 2 cities like Delhi, Kolkata, Indore, Jammu, and others,” he added.

Jain believes, “Your will is stronger than your wish. Believe in it, and you will see the wonders happen.”

Tynimo emerged as a distinct concept in 2019 that promised a refreshing experience with cutting-edge and trendy products. The idea of Tynimo began to take shape during business and leisure trips to Southeast Asian nations since fast fashion shopping is a well-liked concept there.

The aim was to revolutionise the retail sector and launch a lifestyle brand that offers appealing, high-quality products at affordable rates. Currently, the brand is bootstrapped. In the future, it might consider seeking external funding. Tynimo’s offline presence is growing rapidly and consistent online purchases are from the metropolitan cities Bangalore, Mumbai, and Chennai.
