MathWorks and Altigreen Collaborate to Revolutionize Last-Mile Delivery in India with Eco-Friendly Electric  Three-Wheelers

Altigreen Propulsion Labs, a pioneering Indian electric vehicle (EV), today announced  it’s technology collaboration with MathWorks, the leading developer of mathematical computing software, sped the development of Altigreen’s flagship electric three-wheelers, called the NEEV. The company has been at the forefront of the electric three-wheeler movement in India, a country with over 6 million petrol and diesel-powered three-wheelers clogging the roads. Altigreen’s electric three-wheelers are “Made in India, made for India” and are priced to bring electric three-wheelers within reach for small business owners, independent drivers, and fleet operators. The NEEV has gained industry recognition for its performance and eco-friendliness.

Altigreen initially enrolled in the MathWorks Startup Program, which provides early-stage companies with cost- effective access to MATLAB, Simulink, and more than 120 vertical applications to build their prototype and scale production. In addition, the MathWorks Startup Program also offers technical mentoring, technical support from application engineers, training options in local languages, and discounted training. Altigreen graduated from the MathWorks Startup Program and now uses Model-Based Design to reduce development time and utilize simulations with real-world test data to make the design process more iterative.
