Merck India appoints Pratima Reddy as Country Speaker

Pratima takes on the role of Country Speaker in addition to her role as GM and MD of Merck Specialties in India

Merck, a leading science and technology company, today announced that Pratima Reddy as their Country Speaker for India. Pratima takes on this role in addition to leading healthcare strategy and operations in India as GM and Managing Director of Merck Specialities India Pvt Ltd. In her current role, Pratima continues to demonstrate focused leadership to drive positive business outcomes through inclusive and strategic thinking and collaborative execution.

Pratima has over 18 years of experience, including over ten years in the pharmaceutical industry. Since joining Merck in October 2013, Pratima has held several significant leadership positions across multiple functions in local and global teams. Prior to taking over as the General Manager of Healthcare India Operations, Pratima was the Regional Franchise Leader (RFL) of the Cardiovascular, Metabolism and Endocrinology (CM&E) franchise in APAC, where she demonstrated exemplary leadership and delivered successful business outcomes.

 

The company would like to thank its outgoing Country Speaker, Dr Sreenath NS for showing deep commitment to the goals of Merck India, for actively sponsoring the implementation of DE&I initiatives and actively sponsoring and advocating Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in India, spearheading various initiatives that have made a significant positive impact on our communities. His unwavering dedication has not only elevated our organization’s reputation but has also allowed him to effectively represent Merck India in external government and quasi-government bodies. Dr Sreenath will continue to head SBS and focus on scaling our Shared Business Services (SBS) to new heights, ensuring it becomes a best-in-class center of excellence.
