Redington Limited Wins 9th Dalmia Bharat CSRBOX CSR Impact Awards 2023
The award is for Redington’s joint collaboration with the DHAN Foundation on the project ‘AWAKE’.
Redington Foundation, the CSR arm of Redington Limited (NSE: REDINGTON), a global leader in the distribution of technology products and services, has been awarded the prestigious Rural Development and Infrastructure (Large) Category of the 9th Dalmia Bharat CSRBOX CSR Impact Awards 2023.
The award, which serves as a testament to Redington’s unwavering commitment to community impact, was presented during a ceremony held in New Delhi on October 11, 2023, which was inaugurated by Professor Ajay Kumar Sood, the Principal Scientific Advisor to the Government of India. The event featured distinguished chief guests who bestowed the award upon Redington. Some of these notable figures were Ashok Kumar Gupta, CEO of Dalmia Bharat Foundation, alongside esteemed government officials such as IAS Officer Shri Naveen Kumar, serving as the Revenue Secretary and Relief Commissioner for the Government of Uttar Pradesh, and IAS Officer Shri Banchha Nidhi Pani, holding the position of Commissioner in the Commissionerate of Technical Education for the Government of Gujarat. Furthermore, the event was graced by the presence of Ms. Swati Munjal, the President of BML Munjal University.
Redington has invested in this project to provide access to solar power and quality water throughout the year for domestic consumption, livestock, and agricultural purposes to the tribal population in Kalvarayan and Jawadhu Hills, Tamil Nadu. This achievement is the result of a collaborative effort between Redington Foundation and DHAN Foundation, Tamil Nadu. The sustainable project focused on augmenting water resources in the Kurunji ecosystem, specifically in the Kalvarayan and Javadhu hills regions. As a part of the initiative, targeted interventions were implemented in water conservation and renewable energy which has laid the foundation for holistic development, self-sufficiency, and empowerment within these tribal communities.

The 9th Dalmia Bharat CSRBOX CSR Impact Awards 2023 is a joint initiative between CSRBOX and the Dalmia Bharat Foundation.
