ShipEase: The Journey of Reinventing Logistics through User-Friendly SaaS Technology and Innovative Solutions

Q.1. Can you tell us about the journey of ShipEase from its inception in 2020 to becoming one of the fastest-growing SaaS-enabled logistics platforms in the country?

Ans. ShipEase is an outcome of our collective experience of 2 decade in this Industry. We as an employee started our logistics journey in the year 2012 with an emerging company called Delhivery and witnessed the expansion phase of logistics and digital commerce.

We have inherited our 2 decades of learning in building ShipEase from end user perspective and followed the mantras “Simplicity is ultimate sophistication”

Our primary goal in ShipEase is to reinvent the SaaS and make the tool user friendly and hassle free to the extent it should be.

So far it has worked for us well and giving us edge over competition.

Q.2. ShipEase aims to provide enterprise-level shipping experiences to SMEs. How do you manage to cater to both large enterprises and small businesses effectively?

Ans. So I look at this from a different point of view, when I sit with my product designers, I don’t separate my audience based on daily/weekly/monthly numbers. I just want a simple and easy to use technology tool for my all client base.

We used to get a lot of inputs from our clients while being on field visits across the nation and try to accommodate the refined versions of these requirement.

Q.3. ShipEase has invested significantly in developing technologically advanced logistics solutions. Could you highlight some of the key technologies and innovations that set ShipEase apart from other logistics providers? 

Ans. Logistics is a game of execution rather than differentiation; we all have witnessed the same in logistics how companies have evolved. We work on several pre-emptive measures which can minimize the probable delay which can happen to any consignments. We as a company are primarily targeting to the products/services which help sellers in increasing their additional revenue rather than only focussing on managing their existing chunk of business.

Q.4. ShipEase has partnered with numerous courier services in India. How do you maintain consistency in service quality while dealing with multiple courier partners? 

Ans. We have built our certain algorithms via which we ensure that the service level of our customers are in-tact. We are primarily working on automation of the service level escalations so that the services can be monitored, breaches can be identified & corrective actions can be taken without much manual intervention.

Q.5. As a technology-driven logistics company, how do you address security and privacy concerns, especially when dealing with sensitive data related to shipments and customer information.

Ans. Data security is something which we keep on utmost priority, as we are one of the few players in India who share direct API integration with AMAZON, we keep our data security mechanism tested regularly by big4 companies so that there should not be any data security breach.
