Tech Roast Show Takes India by Storm: A Hilarious and Unconventional Celebration of Tech Culture
The Tech Roast Show is a hilarious 90-minute celebration of tech culture and is set to make its highly-anticipated interactional debut in India. This unconventional comedy experience combines uproarious improvisational crowd work, satirical takedowns of tech and startup founders, and a gamified Turing Test challenge that pits humans against AI.
Socially Inept, is the brainchild of tech industry escapees, and offers a comedic escapade into the world of technology like no other. Comprised of ex-techies, Austin Nasso, Jesse Warren, and Nikita Oster, the team combines their backgrounds with stand-up comedy prowess. Originating from humble tech beginnings, in 2018, they embarked on a mission to hilariously roast the tech scene, making audiences laugh while shedding light on the absurdities of the industry.
Speaking about the event Nikita Oster, stand-up comic at Socially Inept said, “We’re thrilled to be in India for the first time, bringing the Tech Roast Show. We noticed that a large percentage of our roastees and audience members in America are from India. After a very minimal amount of research, we discovered that India is now one of the largest tech hubs in the world and chose it as our first international territory to cover. It helps that we get advice and encouragement from our Instagram followers in India. We can’t wait to meet them!”
