The podcast garners impressive traction and emerges as one of the most-listened-to podcasts on Spotify India
The flagship podcast of Naukri.com, “Workwise with Naukri”, has emerged as one of the most listened podcasts by Spotify; placed at #1* in the career genre and at #11* overall position on The Podcast Charts by Spotify India. Driven by the insight that professionals spend almost 60% of their time working, the podcast intends to serve as an assistive partner for employees to uplift their careers and work better.
The latest rankings released depict the success of the podcast in creating a relevant space for working professionals to learn and understand the nitty-gritty of a workplace to further accelerate their career growth.
Launched on 09 Nov’22, the first episode dealt with the ‘First 60-day anxiety at workplace’ with the discussion focusing on how to handle anxiety at a new job. It featured Dhruv Bogra, Country Manager – Forever New Clothing, and Corporate Influencer Divas Gupta. Other episodes capture interesting and relevant themes like ‘Is Being A Boss A Thankless Job?’, ‘How to Negotiate CTC with Recruiter’, and ‘How to Manage your Manager’ among others.
Since its launch, Workwise with Naukri.com has enjoyed strong rankings on Spotify and Apple Podcasts charts, striking a chord with many working professionals. The weekly podcast show aims to improve employees’ productivity and assist in their career advancement. The first season of the show saw the release of 12 episodes along with a bonus episode which attempted to look at how neurodiversity can better equip teams at workplaces. The podcast has listeners spread across the country with a skew towards the top 10 metros and Gen-Z professionals.
Three corporate influencers – Divas Gupta, Mehar Sindhu Batra, and Deepak Pareek, spearhead the podcast series. Some other notable guests on the Podcast have been Aditya Ghosh, Co-Founder Akasa Air and Siddharth Banerjee, Managing Director Pearson, among several others. The podcast, produced by Wyn Studios, is streaming on all leading audio platforms like Spotify, Apple Podcast, Amazon Music, and Jio Saavn, among others.
“Workwise with Naukri.com” is an initiative launched by Naukri to help professionals work better on a day-to-day basis. The initiative which kickstarted with the release of the podcast, aims to reach its audience through multiple properties – the Quick Hacks Series, answering the most searched ‘how to’ of young professionals, the Unmute Series, providing a safe space to employees to ask those uncomfortable workplace questions and get insightful advice, the Mentorship series, handholding professionals in job interview process. The podcast, Quick Hacks and Unmute Series are up and running, while the mentorship series will be released in a phased manner.
