Ather Energy is an Indian startup that has gained recognition for its cutting-edge electric scooters. Launched in 2013, the company’s flagship models, Ather 450X and Ather 450 Plus, have received widespread acclaim for their performance and smart features like a touchscreen dashboard, fast charging capabilities, and over-the-air updates to enhance the user experience. The Ather 450 has a top speed of 80 kmph with 1-hour battery charging time and a range of 75 km/charge. The Ather 450X on the other hand has a top speed of 90 kmph with 4.5 hour battery charging time and a range of 90 km/charge. Both scooters offer a smooth and agile ride, making them highly suitable for congested urban areas. These attractive features have enabled Ather Energy to sell 11,754 units in March 2023 with a registered YoY growth of 353%. 

Revamp Moto

On the other hand, The company’s modular, “Built-To-Adapt” solution – RM Buddie 25, offers swappable attachments possible within 30 seconds. With a top speed of 25 kmph and a range of 70 km/charge with a portable battery, this is probably going to be the most diverse EV in the market.
