The Ather 450 has a top speed of 80 kmph with 1-hour battery charging time and a range of 75 km/charge. The Ather 450X on the other hand has a top speed of 90 kmph with 4.5 hour battery charging time and a range of 90 km/charge. Both scooters offer a smooth and agile ride, making them highly suitable for congested urban areas. These attractive features have enabled Ather Energy to sell 11,754 units in March 2023 with a registered YoY growth of 353%. 

Revamp Moto

Designed and built to address specific challenges faced by microentrepreneurs, delivery riders, and individuals relying on two-wheelers for their livelihood, Revamp Moto is a ‘Make In India’ EV company based in Nashik, Maharashtra that focuses on the idea of cost-effective shared mobility along with last-mile haulage for multiple service providers and various day-to-day needs. With these being relatively low-speed models for daily activities such as quick transportation, riders do not require a license or registration to ride this model in India. Their RM Mitra is equipped with one of the most compact battery packs and an indigenously designed modular utility platform. It has multiple swappable attachments at the back and can serve continuously for varying high payload use cases.

On the other hand, The company’s modular, “Built-To-Adapt” solution – RM Buddie 25, offers swappable attachments possible within 30 seconds. These customizable features help streamline operations, enhance productivity, and promote sustainability. With a top speed of 25 kmph and a range of 70 km/charge with a portable battery, this is probably going to be the most diverse EV in the market.
