2022 is the year where we have seen people move from parking their money in fixed deposits and current accounts to newer investment options like stocks and mutual funds. According to a report by the ICRA, The net monthly demat accounts addition increased from 11.9 lakh in FY2021 to 28.33 lakh in the current financial year, while it was only 4.1 lakh per month during FY2020. This exponential rise in retail investor participation is primarily due to the ease of investing in India through new age wealthtech apps. By making investing simple, accessible and trustworthy these four apps below have become the favourites for retail investors in India.

 

Zerodha

Founded in 2010 with the goal of breaking all barriers that traders and investors face in India, Zerodha through their disruptive pricing models and in-house technology has become the biggest stock broker in India.
