Back in 2013, Lalit Sachan and I, both alumni of the prestigious Indian Institute of Management (IIM) and Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), embarked on a mission to revolutionize the education system. We observed a significant gap between the skills demanded by the industry and the skills imparted by traditional educational institutions. Many graduates were finding it challenging to contribute effectively in the workplace without further training. This realization sparked the idea of founding Edvancer.
Our goal from the outset was clear: to provide the best career-oriented education possible. We aimed to create an intervention in the education system, one that would align learning with the needs of the industry and the aspirations of students. To achieve this, we adopted a new paradigm of learning, focusing on practical, hands-on, short-term certificate courses that were created and delivered by industry experts. We were determined to bridge the gap between industry requirements and university output.
Another principle we firmly believed in was providing anytime, anywhere learning. We recognized that individuals should have the freedom to learn at their own pace and convenience, without being restricted by academic years or batch schedules. Leveraging the power of technology, we built an online platform that offers our courses 24x7x365, accessible on any device. This approach ensures that learners can access education wherever they are, whenever they want.
At Edvancer, we have a unique perspective on the return on investment (ROI) for students.
