How does technology play a role in improving the efficiency and functionality of Home Improvement Fixtures?

Technology has played a crucial role in enhancing the functionality of products and the convenience that customers derive from using them. It is present in every part of the process, from the procurement of source materials to the marketing and sales of products. Using advanced machinery has helped improve the manufacturing process of products by allowing for more precision and less error. Moreover, technology has improved safety in each production aspect. Adopting digital tools has been instrumental in making inventory management even more efficient. In marketing and sales, technological applications like Shopify and Google Analytics help businesses tap into a wider pool of audience groups online, thereby boosting their brand’s visibility.

How has technology helped your company in optimizing inventory management and supply chain operations for Home Improvement Fixtures?

Technology has greatly assisted us with optimizing our inventory management. This has come as the result of two methods – one, via in-house developed proprietary tools, and two, via digital tools like Uniware. The combination of these has helped us automate many aspects of inventory management to help streamline operations while tracking the supply chain in real-time. It has also allowed us to dispatch orders promptly within 24 hours of ordering from our parent warehouse in New Delhi and our additional warehouse in Bengaluru.

How do you use data analytics and insights to improve product development and offer tailored solutions to customers?

We achieve this via two key steps. The first step entails tracking our best-selling items via detailed analytics from Shopify. This allows us to know what products are popular and where geographically. Next, we consider customers’ preferences by studying the most sought customizations. If the customization of a particular parent product is too frequent, we introduce them as a separate SKU. These two steps allow us to facilitate tailored solutions for customers, no matter their differences in demographics or preferences.

What impact do you foresee digitalization having on the overall user experience in the Home Improvement Fixtures?

Digitization is going to continue having a positive impact on the industry. User experiences will continue to improve due to the adoption of new technological tools. As a brand, we strive to upgrade ourselves to give our customers flexibility in purchasing. By having our entire product catalogue online, we want to maintain a one-stop-shop experience for all consumers. Adding to this, we look for ways to increase immersion into our web store by innovating how we present our information – through videos, product descriptions, and more.

How do you ensure that your technological advancements and digitization efforts align with the company’s vision and goals for sustainable growth?

As a company, we constantly invest our time, efforts, and resources into top Research & Development facilities. This helps us study the latest trends in the market that we can incorporate into our products. Giving the customers the best of the best is always a priority for us. We look to stay ahead of the competition by being on top of the latest trends. Given that we manufacture our products, we use this to our advantage to incorporate new advancements into our catalogue that can be manufactured and launched within a few days.

Can you provide examples of how your technology-driven approach has resulted in positive feedback or success stories from customers who have used your Home Improvement Fixtures?

Customers have been able to use technology to get what they want as per their preferences. A very apt example of this with our brand was seen in a recent order. Here, we were tasked with customizing 8mm thick Stainless Steel floor drain grating tops. This was a challenge as ready-made drains aren’t available in India. We asked the customer to send in a photo of their desired designs of the product, following which we used our laser machine to manufacture according to the specifications. Thanks to our in-house manufacturing prowess, we got this done quickly with fast delivery. Another example came in the form of a multiple kitchen sink requirement from a QSR. Here, we could manufacture their required product as per their size specifications without a hassle.
